Quilt Quality Identification

Most people pay attention to what kind of fabric they are when buying bedding. Some like pure cotton, some like silk, and some like polyester-cotton. And these fabrics have their own different characteristics and prices. So how do you choose the right bedding through the fabrics?

The following introduces the characteristics and identification methods of various fabrics to help you choose the quilt that suits you.

Polyester-cotton refers to the general term for blended fabrics of polyester and cotton. Textiles woven from 65%-67% polyester and 33%-35% cotton blended yarns are commonly known as "really good". Polyester-cotton is divided into plain weave and twill weave. . The plain weave polyester-cotton fabric has a thin surface, good strength and wear resistance, and has a very small shrinkage rate. In addition, because polyester is not easy to dye, polyester-cotton fabrics are mostly light and light tones, which are more suitable for use in spring and summer. Twill polyester cotton is usually denser than plain weave, so it appears dense and thick, and the surface gloss and hand feel are better than plain weave.

Yarn-dyed pure cotton is a kind of pure cotton fabric, which is woven with warp and weft yarns of different colors. Due to the first dyeing and then weaving, the dye penetration is strong, the color fastness is good, and the different-colored yarn fabrics have a strong three-dimensional effect and a unique style, and the quilts are mostly in striped patterns. It has the characteristics of pure cotton fabric, but usually shrinks more.

The high-count and high-density jacquard pure cotton fabric has a particularly large warp and weft density and rich weaving changes, so the fabric feels thick, durable, and has a high surface finish. A more advanced one.

Pure cotton feels good, comfortable to use, easy to dye, rich in variety of patterns, soft and warm, strong hygroscopicity, washable, less static, and is a widely used material for quilts; but easy to wrinkle, easy to shrink, poor elasticity, acid resistance It is not resistant to alkali and should not be treated for a long time at a high temperature above 100 degrees Celsius, so it is best to spray wet cotton products when ironing, which is easy to iron. If possible, iron the product with a steam iron after each use, and the effect will be better.
